Opening up favored by 6.5

Do we play our first close game of the season?
 
Pretty pumped that we’re favored by 6.5 and UNC was only favored by 5.5 against this team two nights ago.

Down to 5.5...but BPI still shows Iowa State as a 53.6% favorite.
 
Analytics are unreliable for both teams as projections whiffed on both, so the spread is volatile. Probably why people are grabbing the points. We could lose or win by 20.

Can’t fathom losing by 20 with the way our defense is playing honestly… utterly suffocating… but won’t be surprised if we win by 20… half expecting it!

Yeah meant more like "we could lose the game in general or win the game by up to 20". Didn't mean to imply +/- 20. More like -5 to +20.
 
Iowa State is a senior laden team. So that gives them the experience and chemistry to win many games this year.

Uconn has the talent to win this game and win convincingly on their way to a top 8 ranking when polls come out! Iowa State's guards are their strength. Our defense can win this game by shutting down their guards. Sanogo and our bigs should dominate.

I bet the algorithms have not fully factored in Karaban and Clingon yet. They are top players now, much better than whatever factor they give to four star recruits.
 
I think the game is mostly played between 5-7 points and new win by 11 sinking FTs

Iowa St hasn't let a team score over 70 in regulation this season, so the team over is a bit risky. UNC has about as good an offense as us and scored 70. Could do it, but definitely not a slam dunk.

Honestly I’m riding so hot on this weekend I was willing to go with my heart here. If we win in general I turn $25 into $200 because I put in a bet for us to win the PKI before the tourney started.

We haven’t scored under 80 all year ourselves and BAMA was suppose to be a good defensive team too, I think. Before us MSU was the only team that hit 70 and it was exactly 70.

For 37 minutes their offense is about as good as ours. Before the hero ball starts. They collapsed against Iowa St on offense in last 3 minutes also.

Their defense is much worse for the full 40.
