Iowa raced out to a double-digit lead but Iowa State has caught fire from 3 and tied the game, 29-29.

This is Kathleen Doyle's first game of the season, after suffering a broken hand in early November. She has 16 points off the bench so far.

It's been a back-and-forth game. Iowa State has really limited Gustafson's touches. She has only 6 points on 4 shots so far. Score is 47-45 Iowa in mid-3Q.

Tania Davis hits a step-back 3-pointer with 2.3 secs left to give Iowa a 3-point lead. It's been an exciting game. Timeout Iowa State to set up a final desperation 3-point attempt.

And Bridget Carleton misses an open 3 to give Iowa the win. Gustafson came alive down the stretch to finish with 13 points and 16 rebounds. Kathleen Doyle finishes with 22 points off the bench in her first game back. For Iowa St., Carleton finishes with 21 and Tennessee transfer Alexa Middleton with 20.
