I think Maryland will take this comfortably. Iowa rode their home court magic to a close win despite getting completely hammered on the boards. Maryland is playing much better now and I don't think Iowa's magic will travel well to College Park.

I think Maryland wins, but I want Iowa To Win. Need teams like Maryland to lose so UConn can hold on to their projected #2 Seed. I want all of Charlie Creme's Projected #2 Seeds to lose before the end of the season. This way UConn gets the #1 Two Seed and plays gets in the Bracket with the 4th #1 Seed. Stay out of the brackets that contain So Carolina, Baylor and Oregon.

It was a bit absurd to remove her considering some of the people who were on the list.

Not sure what Brenda has done, but this looks like a different Maryland team from the one I watched early in the season.

Iowa was atrocious but Maryland was ridiculously dominant. Their defense was absolutely suffocating. Totally different team from the only who lost to Iowa a month ago. The margin could've been a lot worse if Maryland finished their layups and hit free throws. Theyll be a handful for anyone if they play like they did tonight.

They're playing that Texas Tech defense that got the men team to the championship game last season. It seems like they have grasp the concept of it very well now and they have the players to execute it properly.

Offensively, except for Blair Watson, they are playing at an extremely high level. Mikesell is hitting her three point shots again and Charles is hitting her mid-range shots. A Final 4 team if they can continue to play this way the remainder of the season.

Maryland seems to be putting it together.

They took some tough losses early to good teams and it is easy to forget that they looked like a contender coming into the year, adding a strong recruiting class to a very good core.
