When I saw the thread title I thought what I was going to see was a head shot video of Sue's mom with audio of an exciting basketball game going on in the background....

I distinctly remember on Sue's senior night that after all the ceremonies had been completed and pictures taken....everybody except Geno and Sue's Mom had left the court...it seemed clear that she was enjoying herself immensely and was perfectly willing to stay out there permanently. Geno had to remind her a game was coming up in a minute and she simply HAD to go to her seat. Geno, Mom and the crowd seemed to get a big laugh out of it.

I'm a big believer in that parenting style, support but don't hover. I think it's pretty effective in the long run.
