Interview w/Caroline about her recovery from TBI

Thanks for this. I love this girl and it's so awful what she's gone through. Every time I see one of these stories it rams home what she's been through, but also each time she seems better, and that makes me so happy. Keeping my fingers crossed that she'll get a good coaching spot, somewhere that challenges her and where she's happy.

I hope that she can return and get to play in more games this season. When she is on the court late in any game, she is the leader. We can use that. But...if she doesn't return, having her being able to start on Senior Day would be the cherry on top of her UConn career, up to that point.
As I posted in another thread, it would be great if she comes back next season as a Graduate Assistant, if that's the plan she chooses.
She's been my favorite player since her freshman year.

I've said this before, but I'm hoping she can become an advocate for diagnosis and treatment of head injuries in youth sports, especially. There are far more stories like this than one would think, and oftentimes those suffering the injuries aren;t taken seriously, as they're considered "invisible injuries." A good friend of an arm our our family went through this, where her friends and families friends didn't believe that she could actually lose those abilities, and that she was "milking it for sympathy." And this is a kid who qualified and competed in world championship events as a high schooler..
