I've said this before, but I'm hoping she can become an advocate for diagnosis and treatment of head injuries in youth sports, especially. There are far more stories like this than one would think, and oftentimes those suffering the injuries aren;t taken seriously, as they're considered "invisible injuries." A good friend of an arm our our family went through this, where her friends and families friends didn't believe that she could actually lose those abilities, and that she was "milking it for sympathy."
