Other than Kia Nurse(Canada) this year and Svetlana Abrosimova(Russia) in the past, have there been any other foreign Lady Huskies? I haven't been a fan very long and was wondering if anyone knew of others. I can only think of the 2.

Christine Rigby - Canada
Rashad Sadiq - Nigeria
Tihana Abrlic - Croatia
Jess McCormack - New Zealand (never actually played, redshirted one year and left)
Kelly Schumacher - Actually from Ohio, but came via Canada

That's all I know of.

That was before my time. I really didn't follow UCONN before WCBB started in 1995.

Thanks for the info! I was sure there were more than I knew of.
Might want to do yourself a favor, katie, and avoid the term "Lady Huskies". As far as I know, the team is never referred to as such, in any official communication - and, can be a bit of a "hot button" for some posters. Particularly since some programs, such as Tennessee, do refer to their teams as the "Lady" such-and-such, and then have been known to say/imply that the Connecticut players aren't "lady-like" (DT certainly caught some of that).

I usually just say 'the UConn women' when referencing them in conversation so as not to confuse people between them and the men's team.
But thanks for the tidbit! I'll keep that in mind.
