Yea who knows how plugged into the recruiting trail this guy is for Wisconsin. Our top beat writers really don't have much of a pulse on the recruiting game, we keep ourselves informed. When was the last time one of our beat writers was the 1st one to break a recruiting story?

I'm under the belief this guy is very well connected. He was the guy who started the whole Godfrey to UConn possible transfer a couple weeks ago. I believe he's pretty well connected with Stone too.

Better than Borges or Amore are with UConn.

I'm sure he is, and I was just kidding. Reading it made me laugh and picture other boards quoting an Amore tweet saying, "the top reporter for UConn bball said...".

I hope the guy is right!

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while... ;) Seriously I have no beef with the horde, but given how easy it is to find anything out on the internet and how linked in our fan base is, I'm not surprised they "out-scoop" the beat writers for up to the minute info...
