Syracuse, Pittsburgh and Boston College people are all wondering WTF they've gotten into. Well, Boston College has been wondering for ahwile now.

This article is worthless.
First of all, the Big East turned down PSU in 1982. That's 30 years ago.
The world was a little different back then and so were college athletics especially football.
The author writes as though the Big East had the benefit of watching the past 30 years unfold, and then make the decisions they did back in 1982.
Dumb.
