"Doherty reached out to Gerszberg over Twitter and bought a ShotQuality subscription for the program on Feb. 23, according to the purchase agreement obtained from the university under the Freedom of Information Act. Since then, UConn has gone 5-1 with the Huskies’ only loss coming against Creighton, a fellow ShotQuality customer, in the Big East Tournament semifinals."

Interesting that the subscription coincides with a noticeable improvement by RJ Cole in shot selection. Around the first G'Town/Marquette game, I noticed that Cole stopped overdriving and added to his repetoire a nice little floater released just outside the restricted area. His FG% since 2/23 supports the idea that he is choosing better shots. He might be the biggest beneficiary of this technology.
