6:30 press conference.
That is an amazing hire. It's a hire that shows you are willing to be a major player. Is a great piece of PR for the school, and an upgrade at the position to boot.
Brilliant.
Got to match and bring in Petrino
That gives them stability. And someone with Big 12 connections. After success the last 3 years of hiring up and coming head coaches, they sign Tubberville? Odd.
That would make me vomit.Got to match and bring in Petrino

Don't worry, Pasqualoni's Big East connections are serving us so well in this cornhole of a conference. We've got 5-7 down pat!
Another 5-7 season and he's gone.Don't worry, Pasqualoni's Big East connections are serving us so well in this cornhole of a conference. We've got 5-7 down pat!
then at least they're gone. u know who they are5-7 next year will not be easy.
mich, md and lville are going to take us to the shed for starters. then find 5 wins of the 9 games left.
Maryland, Michigan, Louisville, Rutgers, Cincinatti, Central Florida.......that's 6-L's already.........UNLESS.......never mind, just dreaming
That would make me vomit.
Rumor has it if Petrino does not get a HC job soon, he will be the OC at Cincy under Tuberville. That's just great.
WM - can you be any more blind? Everyone is upgrading except us. We are stuck with PP and GDL.
I think that Bobby Petrino is an exceptional football coach. The question is whether or not the University of Connecticut is willing to stomach the hiring of a person who was known to be cheating on his wife with a student whom he helped hire to the position of student-athlete coordinating director without disclosing his relationship. Just not sure it would ever happen.
HOWEVER, maybe the best way for it to happen is for him to spend a year as a coordinator for Tuberville at Cincy, prove that he isn't a "P.R. threat" to the university, and then hire him here (assuming the Big East doesn't have some weird rule about hiring another assistant coach to a fellow member team). In the end, this might be the only way that he lands in the land of steady habits...
Let's talk about his last two jobs: He quit on a NFL team and didn't have the decency to tell the men who sweated and bled for him face-to-face like a man.....i see to remember another guy around here being vilified for a similar move. Then he loses job number two after his affair with a kid becomes public because of the cover-up of a lie he told. Yeah, that's the man i want shaping the future of Uconn's programYea winning games makes me sick too.
