Is the NCAA trying to say something? Wells Fargo Center (Des Moines Regional) seating capacity is 16,980. Save Mart Center (Fresno Regional) seating capacity is 15, 544. The RBC Ceneter (Raleigh regional) seating capacity is 19, 722. The Ryan Center (Kingston Regional) seating capacity is 7,757. Is WBB that poorly supported in New England? Hopefully at least our regional games will be loud and crowded.

We will have the largest share of capacity and perhaps the largest crowd, despite the fact that you can't get there from here. The NCAA selects only sites that actually bid. URI may have been the highest bidder.
