So my FB was suspended due to some alleged fraud on Instagram. No matter how I look I can’t find support. Only thing I posted on Instagram a picture of something I cooked. Anyone have this happen? If so how did you fix it?

I'm sorry to say it may be near impossible to fix.

Nope, you're most likely out of luck. Happened to my Facebook account years ago and no way to recover it.

About of 18 months ago, my Facebook and Instagram accounts were "permanently" disabled because of a post against "community standards". The only thing I can think of was that I joked that a buddy should sell a kidney to support his cigar habit.

I tried going through the link to appeal, uploaded my ID etc. to no avail. I did that a few times a week. Basically after 30 days, it says that I'd never get my account back and I stopped. About 5 months later I got an email that said "Someone may have accessed your account." There was a link in there to secure my account and I was back. Just like that. The email came from security@facebookmail.com.

Check out the Reddit sub r/facebookdisabledme. It's more of a support group, but there are things you can do. Many people have success appealing to their Attorney General's office through the AG's website. I did get a response but it was months after I got my account back.

On a related note. This happened to my daughter as well and she also got her account back. Don't give up.

Happened to me on Twitter. I even did the appeal thing. They're never clear as to what the supposed violation is and if you press them, they just provide a link to all their rules.

I dropped Insta last week - kept getting restricted on comments and finally had enough of Meta and their nonsense so deleted my account, and their app. I had not posted any comment more than a "awesome job!" or "that music is fire!" so likely this was a bad algo and I am tired of being the product on social media - down to only a LinkedIn account I barely check - feels like I got some hours back in my day!

My brother got his insta account back but it took 6 months and a connection to a high up insta exec.
