Injury update for UConn vs Creighton

Music to my ears. As a worry wart, I feared maybe Blanca's issues were similar to Ayanna - who had chronic issues that eventually required surgery and 2 years of rehab.

So glad they both seem to be ok and are, or are close to, 100%!!

I heard from Geno that Blanca just had 2 workouts and she is progressing. He said maybe she will play Saturday. This does not sound like she is likely to play Saturday. I guess we will have to wait until Saturday.

I'd hold them both out until they are absolutely 100%.......in addition to getting them physically ready for the tournaments to come, it gives Geno more time to see what other combinations he likes going forward and gives Allie and Jana more playing time to work on their games....

Seems likely Blanca will see limited time if she plays.
