Honest question because I don't follow div 1 programs as much as BoneYarders do I am curious about how our players' injuries compare to other teams in the league in recent years?
It seems like our success has been stymied year after year and is frustrating. It feels like when the team starts to show so much promise we see a lasting injury to one or more key player(s).
How does Uconn stack up among the other programs?

I can't answer the comparative aspect but in recent memory, the long-term injuries we've sustained are:
2020-2021 - Bouknight (elbow), Akok (Achilles, shin), Andre Jackson (wrist)
2019-2020 - Polley (ACL), Akok (Achilles)
2018-2019 - Kassoum Yakwe (foot maybe?), Gilbert (shoulder, concussion), Diarra (Knee)
2017-2018 - Gilbert (shoulder), Larrier (ACL)
2016-2017 - Diarra (knee)

That list is probably not comprehensive nor 100% accurate in terms of season-timing but there are other, older injuries that come to mind too (Jalen Adams missed a few I think, and didn't Eric Cobb get sidelined for a bit?).

Must be the Strength and Conditioning program doing them in...............
I wasn't going there. Lots of things can contribute. I think about Emeka and his back, also other injuries in his pro career. IMHO he was a kid who was so diligent and hard working about his conditioning that he might have made his muscle structure stronger than his God given body was meant to be. But I'm not a doctor.

I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm about Chief's insinuation that every injury was the fault of the strength and conditioning program.

Jalen Adams missed 7 conference games in 18-19 with a knee injury.
