Big time pass on Ellis. Watch the video. Doesn’t matter where he gets the ball, he never, ever looks at any of his teammates. Has no idea where any are on the court. Once he gets the ball it’s not leaving his hands.
I get it’s a highlight video, it’s supposed to be all about him taking and making shots. But still...there’s just something totally myopic about the way he plays.
he averages almost 5 APG and he's a SG not a PGOnce he gets the ball it’s not leaving his hands.

Ok. And I get it’s a highlight video. But what team player gets the ball, time after time, 15 feet outside the 3 point line and spends the next 15 dribbling here, there, everywhere without once looking up, until he finally shoots a jumper or drives to the hoop.
I can’t quite put my finger on it but I don’t like what I see. Just a feeling. Pass.
This video has passing in it, unlike the others. Might make an impact on your opinion
Peep the 360 dunk at 3:28 if nothing else!
El Ellis was thought to be a heavy Louisville lean he’s coached/mentored by a Louisville native and team fan but with the notice of allegations no one knows what’s going to happen. If y’all haven’t seen this kid, he’s unbelievably talented. Best JUCO guard in the country.
Dude, Prop Joe easily. Cheese was a punk.As a big "Cheese" fan, I take offense to this comparison. I thought he was the best East Side guy!

Valchek’s hood is Southeast Baltimore - Chief is WestSide.

Rivals lists Patterson at 6'8 210 so i like him as a 3/4 stretch. Otherwise it's down to Gak and Samson
Just my gut feeling:
PG- Freeman
CG- Ellis
F- Patterson
C- Etienne
I'm going with Herc or Landsman. The real question is, if Chief were a wire character, which character would he be?
We agree on Ellis/Patterson/MacSeems to me a combo-guard/2-guard (or two) to compliment our bigger wings (Jackson, Martin) is more of a priority.
I'm going with Herc or Landsman.
Yeah, Herc is probably too young for Chief. I didn't like him initially but he has shown a few redeeming qualities, especially when he refused to help Carver move the dead body.I was going to say Herc initially, but it didn't feel "right." Landsman, definitely. That's a great one.
I don't see Chief as a small, pipsqueak type, but I still feel Ziggy is up there with his personality traits and wanting to be the MAN.
