I read that they’re in a Hilton. It’s in a thread here somewhere.Driving out to Indy late this morning from Brookfield, CT. Does anyone know what hotel the team is staying at so we can be there when they bus over to the stadium?

Got tix tonight for Monday. Sect. 242 (not through the school). Fly out later today (Sun).
First-timer at the FF.
Where will the pre-game reception be? Anything else I should look to do on Monday before the game?
Do they move the Donor seats for the finals? I thought they kept in the same sections no matter what? I know Michigan and UConn are on the same endzone sides. When tickets go out, could some let me know what sections we have so I can try to buy some close by? For the championship game we should have the sections directly behind the teams bench- just not sure what side of half court that is.
ThisAnyone on the fence? Just go!
We had a decent turnout compared to Phoenix I think. Probably just a little smaller than Arizona. It was mostly orange for Illinois though. Even Michigan didn't look like a lot in the sea of Orange. How was the turnout? Obviously we are outnumbered, but i saw a post on the Illinois board about how UConn fans where loud.
Outnumbered by a lot but we were incredibly loud and by far the most vocal fans. Lower bowl and 200's we weren't outnumbered by all that much but it was all Illini fans in the upper deck ring around the stadium. How was the turnout? Hmmm, good idea...Anyone on the fence? Just go!
Nosebleed tickets should get dirt cheap an hour before the game. As you know, the view is really far.Hmmm, good idea...
Looking for advice on a 210 mile round-trip solo same-day adventure for a 72- year old whose fandom dates back to 1962.
Traveling from Louisville, it's my first Final Four, and first time actually IN Indianapolis. And, I have an 8:30am doctor appt scheduled for Tuesday, so even without climbing street poles after the game, I'll get home 1am±.
Timing - When to arrive in Indy after a two-hour drive from Louisville; and when to cross paths with the team?
Locations - Where else besides Hilton Hotel, Convention Center, Lucas Stadium? Are these all walkable to each other?
Where to watch the game if not from afar inside the stadium? Preferred bar/location for UConn fans? I'd accept a miracle ticket, but I don't need it.
Hans, in 1997 I had to fly into Indianapolis and drive from there to Louisville for an audit (actually Jeffersonville, across the river, you can figure out what company). I wasn't a bad driver. Very boring with nothing but flat land, but the drive is not difficult.Hmmm, good idea...

Hilton, Convention Center and Lucas Oil are all a short walk from each other. It was super quick and easy getting into the stadium for the game. Soldiers and Sailors monument is also right there and it's pretty incredible. I never spent time in Indy before but that's a gem which doesn't get talked about enough. It's as tall as the Statue of Liberty and there is so much detail to it.Hmmm, good idea...

I'm familiar with the drive from a couple of passing-through visits to my college roommate who lived in Carmel, IN, an Indianapolis-adjacent suburban city somewhat akin to West Hartford or Fairfield: affluence, access, amenities, good schools, and such.Hans, in 1997 I had to fly into Indianapolis and drive from there to Louisville for an audit (actually Jeffersonville, across the river, you can figure out what company). Thanks, this confirms the essence of what I needed to know. All else I can figure out when I'm there. I have to keep in mind that this is an impromptu plan that only made sense starting last night. It'll be short, focused, and imperfectly perfect.Hilton, Convention Center and Lucas Oil are all a short walk from each other. It was super quick and easy getting into the stadium for the game.
I figure on arriving early/mid-afternoon, on a mild enough day, and enjoying it something like US Open, NYC Marathon, Kentucky Derby-type days with an anchoring event that draws the crowds, and lots surrounding it in time & space.Soldiers and Sailors monument is also right there and it's pretty incredible. Can I do the sendoff and the reception? They are a short walk apart. But from what I saw, they left for Lucas Oil 2 hrs before game time yesterday. If they do the same, that’ll be 6:00 and right in the middle of the reception.
The NCAA fan zone is outdoors between the convention center and Lucas Oil. All sorts of games, events, concerts. Unfortunately the weather was a little crazy yesterday. Thanks, this confirms the essence of what I needed to know. All else I can figure out when I'm there. Is there a designated pregame bar for Yarders or any UConn folks in general?
Slippery Noodle has a lot of UConn fans here currently with chants breaking out.The bars were all maxed out yesterday. Much more manageable today, but I don’t think we’ve claimed one as our own yet. Toms has been good but packed and mixed crowd.
It's the same section as Saturday's game.Any idea which sections will be for UCONN tomorrow? I had tickets in 137 last night which was the heart of it, but who knows where they’ll be tomorrow. Assuming big Red will be there, but don’t want to wait too long to buy.
Is the only option for tickets places like StubHub and SeatGeek at this point?
No, opposite (diagonal) corner from Saturday. 208 tomorrow. It's the same section as Saturday's game.
Do they always do that? 2023 in Vegas they switched us from 1 side of the court for the Sweet 16 game to the other side of the court for the Elite 8 game. Similar seats though. No, opposite (diagonal) corner from Saturday. 208 tomorrow.
