Individual Mojo responsibility

Wife started sewing as a hobby during COVID. Made me these nice UConn boxers. Haven’t taken them ,off besides to shower, since the begging of the tournament. Just a little febreze in the morning.

I am going with a Coliseum super soft Husky shirt that has been through the wars, permanent (I’ve tried) stains, across both front and back. It’s a shirt that my wife refuses to be seen with me in public. The wording and Jonathan images are badly faded. If I stood at an intersection with the shirt on and a cup and a sign that says “help me” I would probably make good money, especially today but this shirt has a job to do today. Absorb my nervous flop sweat through this game as I pace, rave, rant and hopefully cheer.

I seem to recall seeing Ray and others at the 04 Final Four.
Can't be sure because we might have had too many beers with the LSU fans we met at a sidewalk cafe. What a bunch. They didn't have tickets, just soaking in the scene.
We asked why they were there and they said if we didn't go one year then if we went the next year our wives would be saying "you didn't go last year, why are you going this year?"

I refrained from posting despite wanting to. I didn't shave. I wore the same grey UConn long sleeve with holes in it, unwashed of course. Sat in same spot. Watched @Storrs South videos 2 hours before the game. Drank 5 Miller lites from 1 hour pre-game til half, then chugged a 6th at half. Had 2 slices of pizza in the second half. Every game. I'm so damn proud of this team. I love this team.

This shirt now 10-0 and 2 Natty's. Got a little salsa on it. A little more beer spillage. A little more, shall we say, ripe with the scent of victory. No washing. I'll air it out today then re-seal in a vacuum bag for the next time it's needed. I am thinking I might find a body of water and throw it in. It will rise again when we need it like Excalibur.
 
Monday: parked on the 5th floor of the garage; hotel room was on the 5th floor. On way down elevator picks up John Fanta.
