I think we should just go independent in football. Sign a deal with SNY or local TV affiliate. Make a agreement with the Yankee Bowl about getting access to their bowl. I like this compared to the watered down conference of the Big East. We could sign agreements with Army, Navy, and any school offering 1 for 1 deals. I don't think the Big East football conference is viable and I don't want to be associated with it. UCONN brand is stronger than the Big East conference to me.

With conf. getting larger and likely going to 9 game schedules I think the Indy rt. is a hard line to walk. Plus the tv monies will probably be in the ballpark of what we get now. Little over a mil a game if we're lucky.
