The Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights are collectively known as the Charters of Freedom. A buddy of mine headed up the team that made the latest (c. 2000) case to preserve them. I wish I could've worked on that just to say (proudly) that I did.

The folks who wrote those were geniuses, and those documents provide remarkable guiding principles that I try to uphold every day.
