UConn has officially tallied 40 wins in a row. After the Stanford loss last November, UConn rattled off 37 consecutive wins to win its 10th NC. Well, UConn has rattled off three more in a row thus far to get to 40. Chattanooga and DePaul are nice opponents, but I think 42 in a row heading into Notre Dame is a likely scenario.

Meanwhile, the streak tally I'm really tracking is 55 in a row. Louisiana Tech has the third-longest streak in WCBB with 54 games. If UConn gets to 55, Geno will have one amazing boast: the Huskies would have the three longest winning streaks in WCBB. 90 and 70 for UConn are the current top two longest, whereas 55 or higher is number three no matter how munch longer the streak gets.

So off we go- 15 games away from yet another potential measure of UConn dominance that would be daunting to say the least.

We have our 4th streak of 40+. No one else has more than 1. Domination!

Minor correction.
We have our 4th streak of 40.
It will become 40+ in the great state of Tennessee on Monday.

Well, Uconn sits at 45 games in a row. Getting to 55 requires wins over Maryland at Maggie Dixon, as well as USF. Then there are some AAC games. The target date for 55 is 1/23 against SMU.

Team ended the 2012/13 Season on a 6 Game Winning Streak.
Went 40-0 in 2013/14
Went 38-1 in 2014/15
8-0 to start 2015/16 Season

92-1 over last 93 Games.

. . . 92-1 over last 93 Games.

Yes, I've been thinking about that too. I wonder what the record is for most wins in an "only
one loss" streak. Probably have to look before the beginning and after the end of that 90
game win steak.

After the Stanford loss to end the 90 game winning Streak, UConn went on a 24 game winning stream before losing to ND in the Semi-finals.

Longest Streak with one loss would be 114-1 for the
2007/08 UConn lost their last game of the year to Stanford in the Semi-Finals
39-0 2008/09
39-0 2009/10
36-1 2010/11 UConn's record was 36-2 Stanford loss in OT and ND loss in Semi-final game.

Sorry, I meant 40 or more. But now, I'm correct. ;)

In case is wondering (like I was), they won 15 games prior to the loss the preceded the 90-game winning streak, which would "only" mean 105-1.
