If that's the case, I don't feel like it's a good thing. But I think he said "one of" or something like that. Still, seems like a reach.

I’m not taking that at face value personally. Think he’s just trying to give him big goals to shoot for as a senior development wise.

Also, can’t pass up an opportunity to note Karaban’s no dip jumpshot at 8:30 and how good it looked. 😉

Thanks so much for sharing I am super pumped for this season to start and have a really good feeling about this year’s squad. (I know it’s practice but) One thing I noticed right away was Solo finishing strong at the rim. He also looks like he lives in the gym, his body fat must be next to nothing. Stew looks extremely fluid and has more elevation than I have seen previous. He just looks more comfortable with another year in the system.

That was fun. Jaylin Ross who is little talked about has high expectations from Solo. Could we all be surprised by him this year?

Ross seems like a great kid, well spoken. The remains of that Fab 5 class really seems to love each other, likely part of what's kept them staying.

Most of Stew's clips are in the mid range - I likey.

Now I'm excited to see what the newbies bring. Nice to see Furphy in there as haven't seen much of him, looks attentive.

If that’s a consistent part of his jumpshot I expect for him to have less slumps this year. He had a very long release before which can contribute to their being a lot of margin for error on his jumpshot. With this release it should be a lot easier for him to have a repeatable and successful motion. Excited to see how that looks for him this year.

Part of being a junior is the confidence of teammates trusting you and being one of the guys. They’re the vets now. There were definitely times in their first two seasons where you can see their teammates didn’t trust them or look for them too much (Solo of course earned it during last year). This year they should definitely be the leaders next to Alex and Tarris looking out for each other. Excited to see how that looks and plays out as well.

Poor Reibe. Given where each of them is in their respective careers, I expect nothing less that to see Tarris dominating an incoming freshman but there's a solid minute of him on the receiving end of some serious finishes by the Kodiak.

Not just long, but a corkscrew. His rotation was on a diaganol axis. Shortening should remove that.

I think we underestimate how good Tarris was at times last year. Like, scary dominant. Reibe, despite his size, should be totally dominated by Tarris most days.

I don’t think Reibe could ask for a better matchup to develop against this season. He should handle physicality way better by his sophomore season.
