I'm a huge UConn fan living in S Florida heading up to Orlando with a group this weekend for the game on Sunday. Are there any gathering spots in Orlando for pregame festivities etc being planned by fans heading down from Connecticut?

The only gathering spot last season was the endless line that snaked around the plaza because of inadequate staff at the entrance. I got to the arena an hour before the tip but still missed all of the pre-game stuff.

I’ll be there!

And to add to your viewing pleasure my end of driveway snow pile is about 5 1/2 tall and the plow drifts on wither side of the driveway are 2 1/2 -3 feet. It's snowing. It's very, very cold.

You’re living in the wrong state, my friend. It’s a late June day here, going up to 85 and moderately humid.

Another reason for me to move to The Villages. Do they have caves there?
I’m standing in line behind people wearing a UConnNation shirt from the. Illages. They have a UConn fan club there

I'm in Tahoe, we just had 8 feet in four days....and still snowing
I got caught in a total whiteout yesterday, driving to Reno
Most unpleasant when you can't make out which piece of white is the road.
But tomorrow and the rest of the week should be memorable skiing.

Go UConn!

You work for the Tourist Bureau! My brother lives in Hollywood. I still have my crazy driver avoidance skills, but I'm too into wide open spaces to live in Florida, though the fishing would be a major temptation.

Bausch & Loeb mid-yellow tint shooting glasses! Or polarized brown fishing shades. Or your tinted skiing goggles? Vanity or roll over.

Not many of us here in Reno/Tahoe! This week has been one of the craziest of the 29 I’ve lived here. Luckily I haven’t had to be out on the road much. Just been hunkered down at the house. You on north shore or south shore? I’m in Reno and Tahoe City.
