Welcome back from your Thanskgiving feast. Just to remind all what we know so far, accoridng to many relaible Tweeters/Bloggers/MssageBoardPosters around the InterWeb (who all have an "inside" source by the way):
The B1G:
Any 2 of UVa, UNC, GT, UConn, BC, Kansas, Texas, or ND are joining - announcement between now, next Tuesday, Dec 1, and Jan 1.
AAU status and contiguous states are a must have to be invited.
AAU status and contiguous states are not important at all.
The ACC:
Any number of (depending on defections) UConn, UL, UC, USF, or ND all in to the ACC
FSU, Clemson, UNC, UVa, VT, NCSU, GT, and Miami are leaving
No one is leaving
Academics are important
Football success is more important than academics this time.
UConn is a lock to replace UMd
Louisville is a lock, UConn now out
The winner of UConn-Louisville game tomorrow gets the invitation
UConn and Lousville are both in, maybe Cinci to make it 16
ND is all in
ND is watching and reconsidering the B1G
The B12:
Any number of UL, Cinci, Clemson, FSU, Miami, USF, BYU, or Boise to the B12
B12 not adding any teams
B12 going to 12, or 14, or 16 (definitely not 13 or 15).
Texas looking at B1G
The SEC:
Is adding any two of VT, NCSU, UNC, UVa, Clemson, GT, FSU, Texas, or OU
Is adding no one
The BE:
Is dissolving and has frozen its assets
SDSU, BSU are staying in MWC
Is waiting and seeing what happens next
The P12:
Crickets.........
I'm sure I've left some reported scenarios out, but this gives you a "clear" idea of what is happening.
