Yes we are. Anyway easier to judge two teams with just one loss than ones with multiple losses.

... in close game, in November, at full strength (which now they are not) and with UL's starting center out. Meanwhile, Duke was behind by double digits most of the second half on Saturday.

Not that it matters at all, cuz anyone putting stock in the opinions of the clowns responsible for this ranking should turn in their fan card.

they put Duke ahead of Louisville because of their resume, which is no doubt better than Lou's. Regular AP/Coaches' polls don't work like that, but that is the rationale in the Goodman & Parrish rankings, sort of like determing the rankings of #1 seeds come tourney time.

We may be ahead this week, but that hasn't been the case previously which proves my point.
Although if you look at the comments, the reason Duke is ahead is because of the overall resume.

I guess I don't get too concerned if someone thinks Duke is better than Louisville - the season will show that. It's as inane as the constant arguments about court storming.

I think your taking rankings too serious. They are fun for fans and schools. Anyone that puts credibility behind rankings is a little nutty, but they make for great convedrsations for fans and can set goals for teams. Heck rankings are even good for the syracuse economy when they celebrate a meaningless ranking with tshirts. Think of the poor folks in syracuse who would be shirtless without these rankings whaler!
