Has no one ever heard the Biblical injuction "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor," or is that considered too passe to teach the next generation?

As a coach of girls basketball, I know I have backed off quite a bit in the last decade because of other coaches crimes & misdeeds.
I dont have the same joy I did have from coaching, because of it. I've become more distant with my players.
Now it seems to be a job instead of my love.
With my own family now, I cant take a chance of any false allegation.
I've been to 5 weddings of former players. But I dont feel that same connection with teams from the last few years.
Now, I coach to survive another season ... Sad ... very sad.
