Importance of Adams commitment from a fan prospective

Let me just preface this by saying we've landed a lot of great recruits the last few years, and I wouldn't trade any of them. That said I can't think of one the fan base has wanted at UConn as bad as Adams since Andre Drummond. All of our other 4 and 5 star commitments have been exciting obviously, but we weren't as emotionally invested. JA and AD, man these are the type of guys that we have followed for years and would just not look right in any colors other than husky blue. Welcome to the UConn family Jalen- you made the best decision of your life! #bleedblue

And to expand upon the point: I want to own New England. I want New England kids to grow up dreaming of playing for us the way Kentucky kids dream of playing for Squid.

Obviously, given what we've seen and heard from Adams, and how Enoch is supposedly next, I've got a good vibe about us heading in that direction. Hopefully Sharma makes it three.

I remember a lot of people wanted Purvis bad. But you're right we've been talking about Jalen forever now
