Breanna had her break out game. Her enthusiasum when hitting clutch shots was terrific to see. The last play with 18 seconds left and Kellys pass was a little off, Breanna made a great catch with confidence and knew enough to get it up top to get the offense rolling. I was very impressed with her confidence under pressure late in the game.

Morgan is so confident. She recognizes when she can score and when she needs to set a screen and shes a very good rebounder. Shes gonna be a great one.

Even though we lost a very tuff game both Breanna and Morgan showed me they can play in the spotlight, under pressure in a big time game. They could be the difference in getting to the Finals.
 
Counting down for the negative response. It is needed to balance this post.

Stewart improved greatly during this game vs. the last one. Morgan Tuck gonna be a really good player for UCONN. Morgan is already tough and has the confidence to take big shots. Both will be really good for UCONN in the future.
 
OK here it is. The pass was more than a little off. It was a bad pass. That is indisputable. Had it been a good pass the play and the game might have ended differently.
 
Sorry Doggy to be late to the party and to disappoint.
I don't think repeating (again) my too well known position on these matters would bring any further enlightenment.
And I'm in such a good mood.
The skiing was altogether not bad after the thaw.
And I'm feeling altogether delightful and optimistic about the team.

Thanks Tony, I'm also very optimistic! Fans from other teams who have been down on our freshmen, especially Breanna are in for a rude awakening. I see multiple National Championships in the near future.
 
The ND losses were tough, not doubt, but this team is very much within reach of a national championship. Three close losses to a very good team should be encouraging. If UCONN and ND meet again my money is on UCONN. But someone is going to need to step up at PG and lead this team. I still think that Hartley is good enough to do that, although I am not sure that she feels the same way right now. She just needs to get her confidence back.

Didn't I read somewhere that you were taking a hiatus? Or was that your avatar in a takeover attempt? I agree, we need the "kids".
