When my mother-in-law's 5 series BWM died in the middle of the highway while she was driving due to electrical issues, I stopped buying BMWs. I am sure others had better luck with BWMs, but that was not a good experience. BWMs are fun to drive, but I had all kinds of major and minor issues with them throughout the years.
