I didn't think it was possible to hate Syracuse more. Then I saw their shorts.

I can't do it. I would actually think that 'Scuse threw the game in order to make BCU look better as a conference partner.

However, I am rooting for 'Scuses unis to be widely ridiculed.
 
Cuse really does look like a tavern league team tonight.
 
If only an I-beam could have fallen down before the game was played.

Truth be told a beam could've fallen if the game were being played in Chestnut Hill and no fans would be hurt.

I noticed that all seven members of BC's fan base are sitting behind their bench.

This is a win-win-win. Helps us, hurts Cuse, makes BCU think "If only". I hate BCU more than anyone, but I can give them this one. I even pulled for the Yankees once.
 
Hating BC is like hating UMess or PeeC. Who cares right now? Much easier to hate an fan base that gets lots of W's like Quse Dook or sPitt (scum)

I'm convinced 'Scuse took a dive. There's a side deal between the ADs to protect BCU against key ACC powers that would like them out and replaced with a school that has a fan base, winning programs and potential to deliver a TV market, none of which BCU has. So 'Scuse simply propped them up to live another day.
 
You could look at it the way I do, not rooting for BCU just rooting against the nose picker!

The whole league is weird now anyway……..who do you lean towards in the Duke/Cuse game this weekend? Reality is I will root against Cuse again with a Duke lean……did I just say that? WTF
 
Maybe now I won't have to hear Boeheim's damn whiny voice everyday on the radio
 
It was a no-win situation. Despise both of those institutions for different reasons. No matter who won, I lost.

Fredo showed a little spunk last night and deserves a tip of the hat for being the lowest ranked team in history to beat an undefeated No 1 team. Think of it as a 16 seed beating a dubious top seed.

But 'Cuse is still going to the Tournament, is still going to be a top seed, and will still beat at least a couple of deserving teams. It's a nice story, it doesn't change the overall narrative.

I don't think Boston College even exposed a fatal flaw in Syracuse. By the numbers, they are really not a good offensive team. So, the way to beat them this year is the same as it's been for almost 40 years. Teams have to execute a mixture of three methods: shoot 3-pointers over the zone, flash to the free throw line and attack the middle, and (every now and again) penetrate & dish.
