You know, the guy was just talking the usual fan-skewed hyperbole when UConn fans piled on some mocking and derisive comments. Then we had the nerve to get all offended when BigO defended himself. I just didn't see where his comments were all that bad - we've tolerated (and ignored) worse. Before people start jumping all over posters, take a second to consider if your response is a little harsher than it might usually be because of the team the other guy roots for.

I HATED hearing that the reaction was similar to one on the Summitt. It was like biting into a ball of tin foil.

Hey, Nan - I didn't decode the handle "BigO" right away (coulda been Oscar Robertson), and gave the guy a "like" on his first post in the thread, reading it as droll parody. I thought we had a new comic talent among our Husky fans!

I really had nothing to do with it. I was actually quite civil compared to the other posters.
