Silas with a 7-9-7 line and great D all game.

This team is so much different from our previous ones. But they just win. I cannot wait to see the receipts from all of you that destroyed this team and its players this year. You don't deserve the greatness of UConn basketball. Guess we're glad we didn't decline the invite, huh?

We held the "#1" offense to their two lowest scores of the season. We play Defense (preferably w/o fouling so much), Reed being the physical presence, and hitting threes at a 40% clip we will win.

I am expecting a win Monday.

We went on three cold streaks in this game that probably totaled 10 min without a point. In the second half we kept getting easy looks underneath, it felt like there was a lid on the bucket. Basically a great collaborative effort by the boys: Anyway, Anyhow.

Ball was 5-11, 3-7.
Ross was 2-4, 2-2.

Combined they were 7 of 15, 5 of 9.

Solo Ball had an incredible rebound at the end.

The refs wanted to keep Illinois in it. They went on a 9 minute FG drought while going on a 10-0 run. Ridiculous.

Also, my only real complaint was Dan icing the starters in the 2nd half. He got to cute with the lead and went with the bench lineup for 2 minutes 2 long. The starters came in cold and the offense dried up. Lucky to hold on.

Yeah but in fairness they have reason to hate us. We have crushed their dreams repeatedly in brutal fashion. Its cruel. But i like it. I like it a lot. Also Illinois fans in my experience are far less obnoxious than the others. Edit: id like to beat down Purdue again in the tourney. Low key one of the more annoying fan bases ive come across. They were unbarable Edeys last season. They talked all year about dog walking us and when they finally got us and got owned in front of the country all they could go on about was Edey destroying Clingan and how he would be the better pro. Thats hasnt worked out either lol!

I've never seen a reputation go down harder than the "Hurley can't win a close game" knock.

That game played out perfectly. Everyone contributed and got rest. We should be fresh against Arizona. Solo and Mullins looked pretty good. Silas is getting closer to 💯 Now we can relax and watch Michigan and Arizona clobber each other. Perfection.

Ross was big with those two 3 pointers when only Braylon was able to connect from 3.

As usual some solid defense and energy plays.

Let's not forget Jaylin contributing an important 3.

Whether Arizona or Michigan, Jaylin's size will be needed with Reibe so foul prone.
