KO give some playing time to Facey, Samuels, or Calhoun? Did he want to give the starters more confidence so that they can dominate? Are the bench players not challenging for PT in practice?

Samuel & Calhoun played about 15 minutes each. Facey only played 6, and picked up 3 fouls.

I'm confused as well.

Just want necessary to play the starters all game. Our guys played great, I would've liked to see Omar, Samuel, Facey and hell even Tolksdorf get a few minutes.

Calhoun and Samuel did get a lot of PT. Facey got 6 min but didn't play too well. Tolksdorf should've been given a little more time though.

It did seem to me that the priority in this game was having Shabazz come out and dominate the game, with the 2nd priority being getting DD playing well and feeling confident. Mission A and B accomplished.

Temple was terrible tonight. There was no reason to have Napier on the court with 4 minutes left.

I would imagine it would go something like this: (1) Napier comes out; (2) Temple scores 6 unanswered; (3) collective Boneyard meltdown.

Nothing like the meltdown that would have happened if Napier drove to the hoop up 25 with 4 minutes left and landed on someone's foot and was out for 3 games.

C'mon, guy. You just want something to ____ about. You'd find it no matter what.

There's one reason Bazz got so much playing time. He and KO were trying to pad his stats. But, you know what? I'm fine with that. If he wins some post season awards and/or gets drafted higher because he averages 17 pts a game versus 16, then I'm all for padding the stats in these type of games. It helps the program and future recruiting. And, I especially feel this way because in most (competitive) games Bazz is always looking to make the team play first and score second.
