If your Micheal Jordan...

Is it possible for him to draft a GM with a clue on how to run a franchise and evaluate talent? If so that would be the play here.

Bradley Beal.

Team has no scorers, he's the best scorer in the draft. I also think he's the 2nd best player in the draft.

Yeah, I would take him or move down. They need scorers, now.

Wrong Micheal.

But on a serious note, Jordan needs to get out of basketball management.

I hope Jordan doesn't give Drummond the MJ kiss of death.

i would not be surprised if jordan takes drummond.

I'd sue the NBA for my draft pick back. I'm sure during the suit it will come out that the first round pick came with the recent sale. The only other explanation is this is still a penalty from when he was suspended for gambling on games.

Am I the only one who doesn't get the Brad Beal hype? A 6-3 inch two guard who struggles to handle the ball and doesn't possess great athleticism, shot 34% from three this season and yet is being called the next Ray Allen.

What exactly makes him the #2 pick in the draft?

i havent been impressed with what little ive seen of him either. atleast not #2 pick impressed.

if im jordan i take thomas robinson whom i believe will be a 20-10 guy in the league for the next decade and hope next year i get a shot and shabazz muhammed if hes the real deal.

Why do people suddenly think Thomas Robinson is going to be really good in the NBA? He's undersized, not overly skilled, mediocre defensively, and struggled both times he went up against Anthony Davis.

The reason I would pick MKG over T-Rob is simply because MKG is a freshman and T-Rob is a junior. Averaging 20 and 10 in college is impressive, but if MKG or Drummond stayed until their junior years, don't you think they put up similar numbers, if not better?

Anthony Davis got all the headlines, and deservedly so, but Kidd-Gilchrist was the heart and soul of that Kentucky team. He's far from a finished product offensively, but he has plus athleticism, extremely advanced strength for somebody his age, and above all, an exceptional motor. I can certainly see him making several all defensive teams in the NBA, and he'll be a nightmare in transition and in the post. I see him as a poor man's D-Wade or rich man's Luol Deng, which would warrant him being the #2 pick IMO.

Who do you take with the second pick? would you trade the pick?

Last night I went out to dinner with my wife,brother,sister-in-law and nephew; and then back to their house for dessert. At any rate, we are in the kitchen and we're watching the OKC-SA playoff game and this commercial comes on. I can't remember if it was a Hanes commercial or not. I look at the screen and then at my niece(who joined us after dinner and who plays D3 college hoops at Simmons in Boston); and I say(and I don't think I would ever have imagined saying this), "Wow, does Michael Jordan need NutriSystem or what!". I couldn't believe my eyes. That the guy who used to torture most if not all of the teams in the league...the guy who had the energy to go 15 OTs and still hit the winner...was looking very much like a middle-aged, chubby guy. What's up with that?!

GO HUSKIES!!!

the man is 50 years old genius. im sure hes very comfortable with the way he looks and when he does feel a little insecure he takes a look at his bank account and feels better.

Tough year to have the #2 pick. Gilchrist is going to be a very good player but at the moment his game is a little limited...sort of does everything (except shoot) very well but it will be harder to make hustle plays against a much higher level of athleticism. I think eventually Gilchrist gets a good mid range jumper going though I wouldn't take him at #2.

Robinson will be a solid pro in my opinion. I would only pick him #2 though if I was very afraid of striking out on a pick. If you're in love with Robinson you should trade down (if you can).

I don't know much about Beal so I can't just blindly say that he has all of this potential.

Thanks for the enlightening commentary. I'm sure Jordan sleeps better knowing a humorless blowhard like yourself has his back.

The only game changer in the draft is davis, so if I was MJ I would trade the pick for a proven scorer and a power forward with good upside.
