Wow Indiana is getting out classed but the calls are just atrocious. Running on first and second and 20. Running on 3rd and 10. They have a solid QB. This game is everything that is wrong with how they ranked the teams. But I'm not sure how you let A Boise in and stop an Indiana using the same criteria. Even the announcers are trying to be nice despite the obvious. But the big 10 can certainly do better with a scheduling system that doesn't allow you to bypass all the best teams. Super leagues need some kind of tired scheduling. Just now running on 3rd and 8. It's kind of mind boggling.

Rourke was really good at Ohio and has been excellent this year in the Big Ten. After the rough start they seem hesitant to let him throw.

Indianas sked was Ohio St, Michigan Washington, mich St. last year that would've been 3 of the top 5.

High level college football kind of sucks. This game is just boring. There are way too many blowouts among top teams.

Lets see what Indiana can do in the second half, they stopped ND after a pretty good kickoff return. I don't like ND and feel that they don't really play anyone that matters. They get into the playoffs cause they are ND, just like I was surprised that Bama didn't make it.

Yeah I don't know what the answer is. I guess you just ride with it and the top 4 or so should rise to the top. Thing here is I don't even think Notre Dame is all that good.

The Massey composite has them #2, with not a single rating worse than 7th.

That said. ND is good.
Nooo, don't say that!
NIU had almost as much yards rushing against ND than IU has total yards...they suck on toast tonight. Much as I hate the SEC, I'll be rooting for Georgia to send ND home crying.

Lol is it me or were they just totally ripping on the B1G for sucking

Without that first interception and that 98 yard td it might be a very different story. But no they were not anywhere near as aggressive as they needed to be

SOS matters…Indiana played a weak schedule and it showed. Curious to see how SMU does…who also had a weak SOS.

Remember ND lost to Northern Illinois, Northern Illinois lost to Buffalo, and we blew out Buffalo
At this point in the season we would not beat ND. ND has a lot of team speed. Reminds me of an SEC team. In terms of wins and losses, you can basically throw out the NIU loss. Georgia will be without their starting qb, and they have been inconsistent this year in spite of their record. There doesn't appear to be any real favorites out there, probably due to the effect of the portal and NIL.

This is the problem with college football. The 7th best team dominates the 10th best team, and then the 7th best team will get its ass handed to it in the next round. We wait all week to watch blowouts.

Seriously, how many games today will be close?

It is true that it feels like the first round has a clear seperation between the teams.

But…I don’t agree that ND gets blown out in the next game. This isn’t the same Georgia team as in the past…and they will be missing their QB.

ND just completely dominated at the line of scrimmage, we'll see which UGA team shows up if it's the one that showed of late then it will be interesting.

An 11-1 Indiana team while not the greatest SOS does at least deserve a shot at a national championship, they got destroyed but no one can say they didn't get a shot.

How the hell is Indiana 11-1?
There were 7 teams above .500 conference record in the B1G. Indiana play 2. Lost to Ohio st 38-15 and beat Michigan 20-15. Very unbalanced schedule. Also no challenging OOC games. They are a 3 or 4 loss team with a “normal” schedule

Only thing more boring. League championship games. Most are either mis-matches or re-matches. Get rid of them. At this point they serve no purpose. Playoff should be 8 teams. The top 7 ranked in the final poll plus save spot #8 for highest ranked Group of 5. No byes. 1vs8 2vs7 3vs6 4vs5.
