mcfadden getting hurt cost us almost as much as Tyler Phommachanh getting hurt

The miss was on the kick where he got hurt, the 4th down play that was run instead of kicking the FG and then we went for two twice when he apparently wasn't able to kick.
No one can say how things might have evolved, but a couple easy three'a on the field goals and two on the extra points changes not only the score but how Vandy manages their offense the last two quarters.

lots we could have done. we're just not used to winning.

We are incredibly young and we can compete with lower level FBS teams. There is something to be said for that. Not quite as much as beating lower level FBS teams mind you, but definitely something.
