If both continue at this rate & we make the FF I believe they will end up 3rd & 4th on the All-Time list. Can anyone verify?

The media guide has Sales & Mosqueda-Lewis tied at 2178 and Kerry Bascom at 2177. Katie Lou is at 2176 now, so 3 points will put her past all three and into 4th. Napheesa should move into 5th before the regular season ends, especially the way she's been scoring lately.

And yes sir, they definitely have a chance to pass Tina and move into 3rd & 4th. It really will depend on how many more games they get to play. Lou looks like a lock for 3rd, and if Pheese keeps putting up the numbers she has lately, she's got a great shot at 4th.

Thank you - I wasn't paying very close attention as I wrote my post. You are correct

Pheesa is averaging 19.8 pts and 10.1 rebounds this season. I think with her scoring trend going up, it is a good bet, she will finish in the 20 pt / 10 rb club. Has any other Husky done this?

The individual stats for Lou and Phee are correct. For the sake of simplicity, I assume 14 more games (AAC Finals and NC game) and 20 ppg each. If they each score close to 280 more points, Lou finishes #3 at 2,456 and Phee finishes #4 at 2,365.

Maya is way out of reach at 3,036. Maybe Azzi can catch her. ;)

Stewie is also out of reach at 2,676. She was pretty good too.

Tina has 2,346. Lou should pass that. Phee needs to play at least 12-13 games and score 20+. It's within reach. Games of 30+ sure help.

In short, absent injury, a major slump, or an early exit, the Twins should finish #3 and either #4 or #5. If Phee does finish behind the great Tina Charles, that's still darned good.

It doesn't look like it - Pheese could be the 1st - that would be awesome. She's a joy to watch!

I would think having two 2,000 pt scorers on one team is rare. Maybe not so rare at UConn?
Not many schools have even one 2,000-point scorer. This may be the first time in NCAA history that classmates each scored 2,000+.

UConn now has 11 players who have scored over 2,000 points. I believe that Maya and Tina were both over 2,000 in the second half of Tina's senior year.

Lou and Phee played with Stewie, but only Stewie was a 2,000-point scorer at the time.

Kaleena finished with 2,178. I believe Stewie was just short of 2,000 at the end of her junior year, when K left.

Rebecca, Kara, and Nykesha overlapped, but I don't think any 2 of them had 2,000 points when they were still playing together.

Someone can check this, but Maya and Tina and Lou and Phee may be the only pairs of players to have 2,000 career points while still playing together. At least UConn players.

Can someone look up Holdsclaw and Catchings or Miller and McGee? Or the Miller twins?

We have had a player average 10+ rebounds for a season only 6 times, the last by Rebecca in 1994.

We have had a player average 20+ points for a season only 7 times, the last by Phee and Lou in 2017.

There is no overlap between the 20+ scorers and 10+ rebounders. Phee could be the first.

Washington's #1 and #2 career scorers played 2 seasons together--Kelsey Plum 3527 and Jazmine Davis 2277. Also #5 career scorer Talia Walton (not quite 2000 points, she had 1817) played 3 years w/ each Plum and Davis. Only 1 other 2000+ scorer in school history.

So prob when they played together , they were not 2000+ at the same time

Correct (if this is in regards to UW players). Milford went thru a bunch of 2,000 point scorers at UConn whose careers overlapped so I thought it was okay.

Ah, just got my answer on the telecast with Memphis. Last season averaged double / double was Rebecca Lobo 25 years ago. :)

Tina Charles & Maya Moore played together as did Kaleena Mosquera-Lewis and Breanna Stewart. Rebecca Lobo, Nykesha Sales, and Kara Walters played together for one year but Kara and Kesha overlapped by 3 years.

If my math is right (it is), Lou has made 27 straight Free Throws.
I don't know what the Uconn record is as I didn't see it in the media guide.
I wasn't sure if if I should have posted it here or in Nans I don't want to jinx the team topic.

27 is a Sam Fam record, in college, as I found Karlie with 24 straight and Bonnie with 23 straight, during their years at Stanford. Bonnie's 23 were part of her junior season when she hit 28 of 29 FT's.

Jon taught them well.
