People usually forget about Uncle Cliffy, who started it all by winning the NIT and should be right up there with Ray Allen. 19 years and top 50 all time scorer in the NBA. RIP Cliff.
I hope that the NBA veterans committee votes CR into the HoF. He had a really good career in terms of longevity and production.

If he's a first team All-American, then sure. If not, no. Can't be the best ever if you weren't the best player on any of the individual teams, titles or not.

This isn't hard.

Yes. In this scenario I imagine he gets his number retired, he and Hassan Diarra become huskies of honor, Liam McNeeley goes up on the lotto wall.

Well I imagine AK gets his number retired no matter what. Pretty much this whole squad is getting retired I'd imagine.

Isn’t Cliff one of the original “ stretch 4’s “???.

Shabazz/Kemba/Newton are on their own tier for me. Karaban would need to become a point forward for his third championship to be in that conversation.

Not a fan of these threads, as you almost denigrate a player to make a point, but I’m not sure people understand how great Ray, Donyell, Rip, Gordon, Omeka and Kemba were. So many greats in UConn history.

For those of you too young to have witnessed Ray vs Iverson, I don’t think we’ll ever see the likes of that again

I can only speak for myself but it would take a player being the lead guy for multiple chips while ALSO having the individual accolades to surpass Rip in my book. Rip checked off all the individual boxes besides NPOY ontop of being the main focal point of a national championship team. RIp's resume is unmatched
