Never bet on your team against the spread.

Think about the UConn fans whose excitement over the 04 championship was ditched the the 1/2 court shot at the buzzer that caused UConn to "lose" against the spread.

Bet your team straight up? Absolutely. Against the Spread? Never. Plenty of other games to bet against the numbers.

Exactly my thoughts. Imagine if that was a call that UConn happened to lose a game on? It was about as obvious as you'll ever see on a replay.
