Didn't UK beat Louisville?

December 1st since which time they have lost eight games including to powerhouse teams like UGA, Fla (twice), Ala. Louisville on the other hand lost three more times - to the #1 team and beat all the chumps they played.
The SEC's claim to fame is that their bad teams beat their good teams consistently throughout the year which suggests to me that their good teams are consistently inconsistent and not that their bad teams are good. KY beat TN - does that mean KY is better than TN or that TN is so inconsistent they can lose games to the likes of LSU and Vandy. SC won the regular season but lost to TA&M and two of their last three games to TN and KY and played no one in their OOC except UNC who they lost to. Those resumes just don't suggest to me that the SEC has 3 of the top six teams in the country outside of Uconn and ND.

They should just put Tennessee as the #1.... Kentucky as the #2, and Louisville as the #3 in that region...... that would be a great atmosphere for the Sweet 16 games in the Yum Yum Center

Still seems to me that Kansas should be seeded ahead of Baylor. Didn't Baylor lose to them? Oh wait a minute, Kansas isn't going to make it into the tournament and Baylor lost to them? Hmmm, maybe we should check the Bears' credentials for being in the tourney too.

Love how the RPI-vocal guys just totally ignore bad losses as they fawn over their clueless ratings. Isn't KY the team that lost to Alabama and also to Florida twice and has 8 losses? But hey, that means nothing when all you care about is who your cousin's cousin's cousin is playing with.

If it was up to me:
Connecticut as the overall #1 seed deserves the smoothest path to the Final Four. However, they do not need it. I would assure a UConn-Notre Dame final by purposely keeping their lines from meeting in the semifinal and giving Notre Dame the smoother ride to the championship game. UConn will beat any team they face. There should be some tension created to end the WCBB season on a high note and this will certainly happen with two undefeated teams meeting for all the marbles(How many out there remember marbles or how to play? I was terrible). It will, likely, happen anyway, but why not help it along?

I don't believe that is correct. The bracket that I printed from the ESPN web site shows (assuming the #1 seeds make the Final Four) that UConn will meet South Carolina in the semis, and Notre Dame will play Tennessee.

Therefore it would have been slightly more interesting if UConn had been the #2 overall seed, since it would then have played Tennessee in the semis and ND in the finals. How dare the committee rely on a subjective "eye test" over the objective "numbers" that dictated ND as the #1 overall seed?
