As a consultant and resident road warrior, I’m consistently on the road and constantly changing/moving flights around. There’s still flights to be had from BDL and other airports for reasonable prices ($500 and less) albeit not many. Shoot me a PM and I’m happy to help you plan your logistics if you need it. Got a buddy from Charlotte area to Houston earlier today for about 1/3 of the price of what he was originally going to pay. Happy to help look at options for others if they need it too

I should have consulted you before I went to Vegas and had to fly on Breeze and Frontier for much more than I should have paid.

Well this won’t help much for your prior Vegas trip but if you have any other trips coming up let me know and I’ll look at options for those too!

I think flights to Houston out of NYC are almost downright reasonable.

Direct flights are not. But if your willing to bounce around it’s doable.

Funny I flew to Houston for San Antonio 2004. Perfect for stops in Luling for BBQ on both drives. Got upgraded to 1st class on the way home (Newark). I deserved it!

If anyone is looking and doesn’t want to message me- highly suggest looking at BPT and/or CLL rather that IAH or HOU if you are willing to either uber or rent a car… can be $300-$400+ cheaper even factoring that extra cost in of getting to Houston from those places. Friday/Tuesday itinerary below:
