Kiah is playing really well. She got a block on a break pull up jumper from the free throw line. Kiah was standing on the arc when she reacted to the shot but still got the block. Bria is in a groove - shooting really well. To steal from Geno, they look really, really good.
 
Ooof - 60 pts is within reach for the half. Vandals are not sacking this town today!
 
Kiah got an offensive boad and putback. Then she challenged a defender but may have missed a switch. Geno chewed her out for missing a switch. 2 FTs for Kiah. She had a nice block out of nowhere a minute ago.

#23 is playing at a different level than everyone else. Just like 2007-11.

Moriah and Morgan are aggressive. I like it.

Bria looks like an AA.

I thought Kiah did very well.

Is KML scoring from all over? Or getting feeds on post-ups? Goodness she can score
 
I'll post this because its what I believe.

It doesn't make a difference in this game, but IMHO the only negative in the 1st half is Kelly did not take or look for a shot. She was open for a couple of threes. I don't care that she hasn't scored in this game, but she needs to contribute offensively in later games, and she got to get in the habit to look/take shots and drive to the basket for points.

Maybe not, but remember she is coming off the flu this week. She may be off her game a bit.

I tend to agree in theory, however, Dolson has also only played limited minutes and taken 4 shots. I'm not overly concerned about her, nor am i overly concerned about Kelly. I don't disagree she needs to shoot when open, but the best shooter on the planet is en fuego and it's right to feed the hot hand!
 
Kelly's open looks were very early in the possessions too so it made sense to pass rather then shoot. Same with Doty. And with KML on fire and Bria as well, better to keep running offense.

Also practice for later games. Run the offense and get it into muscle memory.

Coming off screens for 3 pointers, posting up, putbacks, and head fakes followed by jumpers.
