Assume for the moment that PSU gives us a competitive game on Thursday: where will that flow from?

What weaknesses do they have that we will exploit to make my assumption not come true?

To compete PSU will need to spread the court and have significant transition baskets. It is a pretty hopeless situation for the Lions. They are not a good half court team.

First I expect UConn will win by double digits and should dominate inside play.

I'll be watching to see how the guards defend PSU's shooters. I would like to see PSU's 3 point shooting percentage under 33% and overall shooting % of around 40%.

The more important person to smother on PSU is Bentley and to keep her from distributing the ball. The best way to do this is to simply keep the ball out of her hands. Maggie is not as much a threat to get loose and will frequently drive into the lane without a plan. Stewart will have a field day batting those away along with Dolson and Stokes. I think Faris on Bentley may be the way to go and then Bria or Banks on Maggie. You must not let Maggies spot up. She is the mirror image of Kaleena as a shooter.
