It seemed like she never really had a chance to play the way she played in high school. Injuries really inhibited her development. She had a feathery midrange jump shot and could even hit the occasional three. I hope she can recover that form wherever she ends up.

Good luck Ice.
I just hope that wherever she ends up that she starts practicing with them 100% healthy.
Pure speculation here...I wonder if she will go back closer to home and try to get an offer from UCLA?
How about a Pac 12 school? Potentially one or two games in San Diego (unless of course Ice picks San Diego State) and far less travel coming off major knee surgery. Unsure if the new look Pac 12 will be a league that consistently gets more than one bid for the NCAA tournament though.

it is so sad that the career of some highly regarded recruits for UConn didn't reach their potential because of injuries (CD, Yanna, Ice)...All the best to Ice. Hopefully she gets to a team that she can show her skills (when healthy).
Completely agree. Paige, Ice, Yanna, Azzi, and CD spent so much time battling injuries. I feel like this is the end of that group. I wish her well.

We could have used a healthy Ice Brady in the tournament. She played well in her minutes last year. I was hoping she could regain her form with UConn this upcoming season. Thank you, Ice, and best of luck!

I was wondering with the old guard Azzi, Carol, and Ayanna leaving as well. Ash and KK were a couple years removed and are kind of in the middle of two different eras.

Best of luck to her. I had thought maybe UConn had gotten a steal with all eyes focused on Betts. Very talented player.

Just wondering...Seeing that Ice had surgery in February, will she be under the care of UConn Medical until she is accepted at her new school?
Surgeons pass off after care quite often and with tele-health she can still consult should she be anywhere in the world. And we really have no idea what the surgery was, so recovery may be well advanced and it is only physical therapy/training left.

She is a grad transfer so that may influence her choice of school.

She was a big part of last year, and a great teammate - will miss her and wish her great success.

She had a great BE tourney couple of years ago but in spite the injuries I never thought she was the big rebounder they needed
She does have a sort touch and hopefully she'll have a couple of years pain free with her new team
This surprised me more than Ayanna leaving

Ice and Ayanna were both top 5 recruits in their class. Both stayed at UConn for 4 seasons. There was only one game during their 4 years where they each played minutes in the same game. It occurred this season against Florida State. A crazy statistic.

Ice appeared in 73 games, Ayanna in 60. Just two UConn careers absolutely decimated by injury. Wish them both luck in the next chapter.
