For a tourney bid with 1 more win. I've heard St. John's is a lock which sounds crazier than that. Any reality?

The funniest one with Lunardi is the Johnnies a lock and LSU on the bubble. Who has the ability to beat anyone of those 2? I mean LSU actually blew the Kentucky game and were very much the better team that day. They could use a great guard but their frontcourt is very talented and should be playing next week.

With a win there, and a loss to let's say SMU:

20-14, RPI 73, SOS 52, NCSOS 97,
RPI:
1-4 vs. Top 25
6-9 vs. Top 50
7-13 vs. Top 100
13-1 vs. sub-150

Here's the comparison more directly:

We don't look good in this, really. They have a better SOS, a better RPI, would have more wins and fewer losses.

How about just making it 21-13. No questions!
That's the only way their getting in.

As much as I'm upset about the Memphis loss, at least it saved me many hours sifting through this terrible bubble. I was way too into it last week. And, to be clear, St. John's isn't impressive, but for the love of god, just look at the bubble! These are Lunardi's last two teams in. Are you kidding me!

His first and next 4 out are jokes as well, the only thing killing us is the stupid RPI formula oh well just win the next 2.

win or go home, pretty simple
More like "Win or end up in the NIT." Because they would probably accept the bid if offered, and it probably would be.

He has us closer than I would think. Haha.

Honestly it's a joke that they have us behind Murray St, odu and buffalo.

Buffalo has no shot.

22-9, RPI 33, SOS 72, NCSOS 60.
Best win: Kent State RPI 90
4 sub-100 losses.

They'll likely win their tournament. If they don't they'll fall back anyway. He has Central Michigan as the team in from that conference.

ODU also has no shot. Superficially high RPI (46), but a weak SOS (146), 1 Top 50 win, and 5 sub-100 losses.

Murray State...yeah, that's not happening.

Neither is Rhode Island.

We need to win out. With a couple more wins during the season we probably get in just by making the championship game but the reality is this has been a really ugly season for UConn.

I like where we are, though. Hamilton and Purvis are the keys tonight. Lets get it.

Just shows you how if you flipped either:

a) Just Houston.
b) Two of Yale/Texas/Memphis/@Memphis/Temple...

They'd be in.

Tough to say. But honestly, for me the most disappointing loss of the season was at Gampel against Memphis a couple weeks ago. Losing that one after a big win against SMU absolutely killed our momentum and any chance of winning at Temple.

And the refs were basically trying to give us that game.

The Houston game gave us a bad loss. Without it, they'd be 20-12, RPI 65 and without a bad loss.

Give us, let's say, Texas and Yale (the closest two), and they'd be 21-11, RPI 47, and 6-7 vs. Top 50, 8-10 vs. Top 100.
