I was wondering if anyone knows what 2021 prospects have a UConn offer

Amari DeBerry-Definitely
Azzi Fudd-Definitely
Talia Von Oelhoffen-Highly likely
Payton Verhulst - Moderately Likely
Saniya Rivers- Moderately likely
Caroline Ducharme Highly likely
Rayah Marshall -Reportedly

Saylor Poffenbarger-Definitely
Sonia Citron -Maybe
Aaliyah Moore-Maybe
Tennoi Key-Maybe
Jersey Wolfenbarger-Maybe
Awak Kuier-God I hope so, but not likely

(Besides Azzi)

Good question for those of us that don't following UConn's daily/yearly recruiting efforts as closely as others.

Awak Kuier? Could you elaborate?

Based on present rankings for the definately or highly likely;
Azzi Fudd - #1
Amari DeBerry - #5
Talia Von Oelhoffen - #10
Saylor Poffenbarger - #17
Caroline Duchame - #41.

If these 5 turn out to be the class of 2021, that's really good. I'll take it.

If we get all 5 after this year's class, there's going to be an investigation as to how UConn is "bad for basketball."

I get why people think Azzi is highly likely, altho there is still a lot of recruiting to be done and I have no doubt every top team has put the full court press on her... But what makes you think TVO and Caroline are highly likely?

Talia von Oelhoffen recently named UConn in her top-5 and an article following stated that she received an offer.

Those are how likely it is that they have a UCONN offer, not necessarily how likely they are to accept it.

If Azzi commits I think Uconn is done for that year. 8 players in 2 years is a lot. Move onto the next class.

Maybe I was confused - I thought huskynut was saying it was highly likely we'd land all of those 5. The only ones we have are Poffenbarger and DeBerry - a great start. Lots of recruiting left on Fudd, and I have no idea how likely any of the others are with regards to choosing UCONN.

Howz bout Olivia Miles(close by) and Lattimore 6'4", Edards teammate?

Have not seen or heard of any interest by UCONN in Miles for about a year now. Lattimore has already down selected her list of colleges and UCONN was not included.

Two consecutive classes of five recruits could be disastrous. As far as I know, that has never happened in the last 30 years, and for good reason. It would mean a roster of 14 and 5-6 very unhappy players.

I seriously doubt it. If UConn had back to back 5 player classes like that they would be in Notre Dame's position when those classes graduated. Who from 2022/2023 would want to come sit? Certainly not top 10 recruits.
I'm thrilled with who they got and if Fudd commits I think that will close the book. (except maybe Kuier) ;)

Agreed. Geno doesn't play enough of his bench and UConn has already recruited too much talent that will be aiming to start or be first off the bench. With his haul over the past year, I'd say Fudd and maybe one more wing/stretch-4 type player would round the team out really nicely. Otherwise a full house.

I don't know if I agree with that. Maybe @Charliebball is rubbing off on me but somehow the UCONN roster/rotation seems to be self correcting by transfers, injuries, early WNBA entry or outright recruiting mis-hits. As long as the kids are talented & willing to come, UCONN should welcome them. It is a given that they are not all going to work out and remain happy so I would rather take in larger numbers.

Too late for that. We already have 2 commits for next year. With Fudd still a possibility.

Can you imagine Andy Landers at halftime trying to pronounce all those names?
He STILL can't manage Olivia Nelson-Ododa... especially the Ododa part. I've reached out to ESPN twice and they said they will tell their on air operations people, and to Rebecca Lobo via Instagram asking her to have a training session with Andy. He probably thinks it's "Southern" and "Folksy"...to me it's very unprofessional.

now that's a scary thought!! I'm not good at keeping track of when players become available for pro ball but I do think that Westbrook could leave after one year on the court and that there is no guarantee that the two European players won't leave early too. As ND is finding out, life with a short bench can be miserable.............today you have to actively recruit a couple of good extra players to cover all the possibilities................a 12-13 player roster seems to be about right...................hopefully if they are practicing well, Geno gives in just a little a plays his bench a bit more to keep everybody involved
