Geno wants the Eagles to win. No one would deny Geno what he wants. Would they? Heck, it would be like rooting against UCONN!!!

Rooting against the Pats is more like rooting against Uconn

Is it sufficient to just not mind if they win? I am not sure I can commit to wanting them to win. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, so ambivalence is my M. O. for this one.

Yes, can't stand the Pats.

.-.
For the City of Philly I hope the Eagles don't win. Those crazy lunatics will probably burn the city down if they do.

Phila boys stick together. Geno and Kia will be singing a lot tonight.
"GO BIRDS"

For those who want to sing along.

Fly, Eagles, fly
On the road to victory
Fight, Eagles, fight
Score a touchdown 1, 2, 3
Hit 'em low
Hit 'em high
And watch our Eagles fly
On the road to victory!
E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!"

For those who don't want to sing along...

Go Patriots!!!

It's complicated.

Imagine you are a Giants fan, living in Maine, surrounded by Pats fans who are, to put it politely, raging fanatics. Suppose you respect the Pats as a team, yet find some of their fans more than mildly arrogant. Add in a couple of years , long ago, living happily in Philly, gloriously indifferent to the Eagles.

I think I'll root for the 1957 Milwaukee Braves.

OK! As a kid I was primarily a Roberto Clemente fan and by association a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. However, my favorite team was the Milwaukee Braves with Frank Torre, Hank Aaron, Del Crandell, Eddie Mathews, Warren Spahn, Joe Adcock, Red Schendiest, Wes Covington, Juan Pizzaro, Don McMan, Felix Mantilla, Del Rice, ... Yeah, I butchered their names. I'm just happy I remembered as many as I did. Thanks for the flashback!

This is New England, so I wonder who most people are rooting for? The New England Patriots or Philadelphia Eagles?

My Favorite athlete in Pro sports(active players only) is Mike Trout.
He is rooting for the Eagles so I want him happy.
My NY Giant blood is boiling to pick the Eagles.

Why not?
Been a Dolphins fan since Bob Griese and Coach Shula were there. Griese graduated from Purdue and is one of my favorite QB's as is Marino.

Dilly Phila, The bus for the parade leaves in 1hr Broad & Snyder will be a mad house!!!!!
"Fly Eagles Fly"

Well the vast majority of sports fans are happy now since the Pats were denied. Underdog NFC East teams have kinda been their kryptonite in Super Bowls.

.-.
A true classic. Play after play. The eagles played with guts and precision. NE and Brady played a great game but this night was destined for Philly. Wonder what happens with Fowles?

Neither the Patriots, the Falcons, nor the Cowboys won the Super Bowl. How could anyone be unhappy?

I heard Geno called off practice tomorrow...........................................NOT!!

I suspect Geno might mention that the Eagles played their back-up quarterback, who led them to their biggest win ever. So who, he will ask, will come off the UConn bench with the right mind set and the right skills to deliver a basketball championship this year?

BREAKING NEWS........Geno and Kia are teaching the rest of the team the Eagles fight song, while Lou refuses to sing.
