DD-- funny you should bring this up now. This AM in bed (after being up until 3:30 AM savoring the game and all the evening and night had brought us.....sitting around the fire), I was thinking that about 1/15th of the season is already behind us. Ye gads. And, it will go even faster than the Maya years as we are all older now, and you know what that does to the passage of time.

Second of all, the formula I used goes way, way beyond anything you picked up in remedial math, factoring in such subtle factors as the distinction between "season" and "post-season"....... and, for reasons probably discernible only to masters of The Calculus (a group in which I claim no membership), paying no heed at all to the distinction between "EX season" and "season."

Said formula also embraces such non-absolutes as "about" when estimating that portion of the season already relished.

Thirdly, I'm told (admittedly on very poor authority), that it is ALWAYS halloween at the House of Wonk.?? Stay well.
