If Hatheway did not hire Coach PP and his cast of clowns, the football program would be a respected program in the eyes of the ACC and the rest of the country. The football program is the only thing Loiusiville has over us.

The entire athletic program will now be delegated to second hand citizen status as the major conferences pull in the big revenues. TV networks and recruits will be drawn to the major conferences and we will be left with crap.

Just think where UCONN would have gone if the Big East did not occur. Reverse those thoughts as the Big East now disappears in statue and respectability as we enter the "mid major" era.

But Malloy should have had a sit down with ESPN head man John Skipper a long time ago. He should still schedule one tomorrow.
