I just don't know if ND will beat Duke after seeing that Baylor game. Duke has the horses to win this game if ND is even a little bit looking ahead to UConn and the fact that Baylor, the only team to beat them has been eliminated.

I just don't know how good Tennessee really is. They have looked pretty good, but they haven't played any real competition in the tourney to date. They beat a weak Oklahoma team, but they did look good doing it.

I just don't know how much Louisville has left after upsetting Baylor. Lots of energy expended, mostly mentally. Watz did a nice job in the locker room right after the game getting them to start to move on to Tennessee.

I just don't know how anyone can arm chair quarterback Geno anymore on who he plays and how long he plays them. The freshman, Hartley and even Doty are playing so much better and because of that, the team is much better than 2 weeks ago.

I just don't know if UConn can beat ND if they do meet up on Sunday. But I do know that this Uconn team is better than the one that lost 3 games to ND. I don't think I would say that ND is better, just the same terrific team.

As of this moment, there's a distinct possibility UCONN could face FF opponents it has already routed, before it reached the peak of performance it is now displaying. And, even if UCONN ends up facing ND yet again, followed by a grudge match against the Lady Vols, the path to #8 still looks more like UCONN's to lose, rather than a high, nearly impossible hurdle.

Life's good right if you're a UCONN WCBB fan.

I'll allow that ND has seemingly had our number, but they play over their heads against us. McBride especially looks like the best player in the country against us, against others... not so much.

UConn is playing on all cylinders, even with a key to the machine limping. As we know, the difference between us and ND is paper thin, if different at all. But that's jumping ahead. Well know tonight who we play. I wouldn't discount Duke or LVille, but I wouldn't bet on them. Ville had a shooting night they probably need to approximate. As for UT, I thought they looked good. If we wind up playing them, personally I don't feel it a grudge match.

and that UTenn is altogether not bad: that Holly should be coach of the year' win or lose any of her remaining games.

The difference between the two teams has been focus at what El Amin used to call "winning time." I give Diggins and rest of ND credit. I hate them, but I give them credit. When it comes down to the end of the game they crank that focus up a notch and get it done. Obviously given the scores this year, UConn can beat them but they match up well with us and have earned some swagger vs. us. I'd love to have another shot at them, but I wouldn't be upset about a Duke win.

Hmmn, that may be the first time I've ever said that about Duke.

Guessing I would hold my nose and root for ND, something I swear I wouldn't do for those conference ruining greedy sons of ...

That being said, no way that happens. It's too horrible to even consider. That would be like if the Yankees and Cowboys got together for some sporting event. All I could do is hope for a massive sinkhole to swallow the playing field and all its participants.

Sadly, I agree. The wild card is the freshmens' growth spurt, but you would think ND has a definite edge.

I have an idea, and this just a FWIW. I think we should face guard McBride with Stewart and have Faris guard Diggins. This will leave KML to guard Braker, which I think she can do. ND, in no way, will lose to Duke tonight.
